MOVE WITH METRAILBLAZER CREATIVE HOUSE

THE STORY

Years ago, I wrote “Trailblazer, Inc.” in my journal.

I don’t remember exactly why, but I remember the feeling. It carried that deep, unmistakable knowing that the name would become significant someday. This happens to me sometimes. A word, idea, or vision arrives before I understand what it means or what I’m supposed to do with it. I write it down and let it rest within the pages of my journal. Then, when the timing aligns, I understand why it came.

Recently, I had one of those moments of knowing.

My heart is pounding as I write this because the pieces are finally locking together. What feels like a new beginning is also something that has been quietly forming throughout my entire life.

Story time, because that’s what I do…

Twenty-six years ago, my senior class chose this motto:

“Do not follow where the path may lead. Go instead where there is no path and leave a trail.”

It has always been one of my favorite quotes. Looking back, I understand why. Even then, I had already begun living it.

My freshman year of high school, I played on the first volleyball team our school had ever had. It was a brand-new program, and we were building it as we went.

During my senior year of college, I needed an internship to complete my B.A. in Communication Arts. I chose to spend the summer in East Tennessee, and my favorite professor picked up the phone. Before I knew it, I had become the first intern the City of Gatlinburg had ever hired. After I completed the internship and received my diploma, the city created a new public relations coordinator position for me… my first professional job in my field.

A few years later, while working in Florida in tourism marketing, publishing, and graphic design, another new position was created. I stepped into a sales role that took me across the country, promoting our destination for weddings, meetings, and tourism.

From there, the pattern continued.

I worked with startups and small agencies. I became the marketing director of a new entertainment complex. I joined fitness companies, gyms, and wellness facilities during their earliest stages. I helped create programs, studios, classes, workshops, photography businesses, publications, coaching offers, homeschool programs, and an early-stage tourism app. Even the massage-school lectures I teach now began because someone was willing to make space for something that had not existed before.

Alongside all of it, I spent more than 15 years building and rebuilding businesses of my own. The industries changed, but the thread never did. Again and again, I found myself standing at the beginning of something without much of a blueprint… building the position, program, business, class, offering, or idea as I went.

Give me an idea, an empty space, or a person who knows there is something there but cannot quite see what it could become, and something in me wakes up.

Then I remembered one more piece of the story. Early in my career, while working for the City of Gatlinburg, I created, designed, and produced our quarterly newsletter.

The name I chose? The Trailblazer. Long before this business existed, that word had already found me.

THE BRAND

And today…. I am introducing:

Trailblazer Creative House

From the outside, this may look like another business or offering. And I guess it kind of is. But also, from where I stand, it feels like I have finally found the language for the common thread running through nearly everything I have done.

Trailblazer Creative House is where story, brand, and strategy meet.

It is built upon more than 20 years of experience in marketing, public relations, tourism, sales, advertising, graphic design, photography, writing, publishing, creative direction, teaching, coaching, wellness, workshops, and entrepreneurship.

My degree and professional background gave me practical communication and marketing tools. Years of yoga, mindfulness, coaching, teaching, and mind-body-soul work taught me how to listen beneath the words.

Life added another education. I have built and rebuilt my work through motherhood, divorce, single parenting, homeschooling, reinvention, and seasons of profound change. Those experiences taught me how identity and business evolve together—and what happens when the work someone has created no longer reflects the person they have become.

That is the heart of this brand.

I listen for the story underneath what someone is saying. I notice the pieces that are not connecting. I hear the idea mentioned almost in passing that contains the heartbeat of the whole thing. I recognize when someone’s work has grown beyond the language, offer, or business originally built around it.

Then I begin connecting the dots.

Trailblazer Creative House is not a departure from the work I have been doing. It is the name for the work I have been doing all along.

The girl who chose a quote about leaving trails became the young woman who created a newsletter called The Trailblazer. She spent the next two decades finding herself wherever something new was waiting to be built. And now, at 44, I am creating a place where I can help other people recognize their own paths and build what comes next with intention.

I have been leaving myself breadcrumbs for a very long time. I am finally paying attention to where they lead.

THE STRATEGY

Trailblazer Creative House is for entrepreneurs, creatives, and small-business owners who know something meaningful is trying to emerge through their work, but cannot yet see its clearest shape.

You may have an idea you cannot explain. Your business may have evolved beyond its original identity. Your offers may feel disconnected from the larger vision. You may know you are ready for change without knowing what should come next.

In those moments, another course, generic formula, or list of things you should be doing rarely solves the real problem.

You need clarity before you need more content. You need language before you need another launch. You need someone who can see the larger landscape, ask the questions that uncover what matters, and help you connect where you have been with where you are genuinely trying to go.

That is where we begin.

The Trailhead Session

The first step inside Trailblazer Creative House is The Trailhead Session: a one-on-one clarity experience designed to uncover the direction, language, and next intentional step within your work.

Together, we look beneath the noise and explore:

  • the deeper story your work is trying to tell

  • what your brand has become

  • the people you are genuinely meant to serve

  • the ideas or offers carrying the most energy

  • where your message has become unclear or disconnected

  • what needs to be released, refined, or built next

I listen, ask questions, notice patterns, and help you recognize the trail already emerging beneath your feet.

From there (the story & the brand), we begin shaping the strategy: clearer positioning, aligned content pillars, audience direction, meaningful offers, and practical waypoints for moving forward.

Anyone can hand you a generic blueprint.

My work is helping you see what is distinctly yours…and giving it enough structure to become real.

Everything is marketing and marketing is everything, but you need to define the story, the brand and create a strategy. That’s where I come in.

Trailblazer Creative House is here.

If you recognize yourself somewhere in these words, if you have an idea, business, or body of work that no longer fits inside its current shape, reach out.

You can reply directly to this email, leave a comment or send me a message. These sessions may be done virtually or if you’re local, in person.

Your trail may already be there. Sometimes you simply need another set of eyes to help you see it.

A journey of a thousand miles begins with a single step. I have other offerings as well, but this is where we begin.

I’m ready when you are. Let’s do this.
